The 2026 Hoyt Alpha AX-3 29 is the third generation of Hoyt’s Alpha platform, designed to deliver a compact, stable, and highly tunable bow for hunters and target archers. In the Right-Hand (RH) configuration, set at 70 lbs draw weight and 27-inch draw length, finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland, this bow combines Hoyt’s latest innovations with proven camouflage for maximum concealment in the field.

At the core of the Alpha AX-3 is the HBX Gen 4 Cam System, Hoyt’s smoothest and most customizable cam to date. It allows ¼-inch draw length adjustments, customizable let-off, and back wall feel, making a 70 lb draw cycle feel significantly lighter. The bow achieves speeds up to 340 fps (ATA), offering a balance of speed and forgiveness in a compact frame.

The Alpha AX-3 also incorporates Hoyt’s patent-pending XTS Tuning System™, which enables archers to correct both lateral and vertical paper tears without a bow press. This makes tuning faster, easier, and more precise, whether bare shaft tuning, broadhead tuning, or fine adjustments in draw weight.
